Nestle Product Launch

The Brief

For the launch of their new commercial coffee machine Nestle held a 3 day event at Central Coast conference venue, Mercure Kooindah Waters, through BI Worldwide.  The 3 days were broken up into a day of team building, the launch session, a gala dinner and a final day of conferencing and breakouts.  Each of these sessions needed to have a distinct and different look, with particular attention paid to the launch and gala dinner.

The Solutions

Using long throw lenses in projectors on truss towers at the rear of the room, we we able to clear up floor space, despite the lack of rigging points in the room.  For the training day we used plain black draping for a clean corporate look to the ballroom.

For the launch session the room was dressed up with the addition of 60 'Wave Wall' panels between the main screens to give a TV set feel.  LED uplights on the wave wall set and the drapes allowed us to change the mood of the room as required throughout the presentation.

For the Gala Dinner, all equipment was removed with audio and lighting reset in a portrait orientation.  French action draping split the room 1:2, with sound and lighting and dance floor for the night's entertainment, to be revealed after the formalities.  This complete tear down and rebuild of the room was completed within a very short window of only a few hours.

For the final day of the conference the ballroom was broken down into 3 small rooms, each requiring projection and audio systems.
