2014 National Conference

The Brief

With a "Welcome Aboard" theme, we were given the task of creating a wide format display to help take delegates on a round the world trip, emersing them in room-wide visuals of exotic locations.


The Solutions

Using a Matrox Triple Head 2 Go system coupled with PVP2, we used two 10' x 7½' and one 12' x 7½' rear projection screen to create a 32' x 7½' video wall.  We worked with Bacardi Lion's creative team to ensure custom made content would integrate seamlessly into the unique ultra wide 4.354:1 aspect ratio.  For each of the six sessions there was a custom video across all screen to open, then themed images would be displayed on the outer screens with presentations displayed on the centre screen in a standard 16:10 aspect ratio.

In addition to the custom display and other conference room audio and lighting, we also arranged a talent show dinner, and quickly reset the main room for the closing night Gala Dinner.

We also produced a farewell video for the outgoing Managing Director, which was shot, and edited discretely onsite at the conference.  The finished product was shown as a surprise farewell gesture on the closing night.
